Join us to celebrate 5 de Mayo with AHS Spanish Department! Friday, May 3rd, 2024. 12:30-3:30 pm in the Band Practice field by the Antelope Gym.
There will be music, games, activities for kids, salsa competition, food for sale and much more!

If your child would like to order something from a vendor they will need to bring money to purchase their items. Our vendors accept cash, Venmo or Cashapp and that information will be available the day of.
We will have prizes for the best dressed, so have your child show off their best 5 de Mayo outfits or wear, green, red or white to participate!

A skunk found in northwest Lubbock County has tested positive for rabies.
The Abernathy Local Rabies Control Authority reminds you to please notify Animal Control if you notice any nocturnal animals out during the day.
Please take the following precautions:
* Keep vaccinations up to date for all pets.
* Keep your pets under direct supervision so they do not come in contact with wild animals. If your pet is bitten, Report the bite immediately by calling Abernathy Animal Control at 806-298-2546 or 806-801-2700, so the animal may be placed in observation or submitted for rabies testing.
* Do not handle, feed, or unintentionally attract wild animals with open garbage cans or litter.
* Never adopt wild animals or bring them into your home.
Remember to vaccinate your pets against rabies as is required by law.
