A cold front is expected overnight with breezy post-frontal winds out of the north around 20 to 30 mph through the morning and afternoon tomorrow. Cold air behind the front coupled with the breezy conditions will give way to morning wind chills tomorrow in the teens to 20s, with a few localized areas in the single digits across the far southern Texas Panhandle. Remember to bundle up when heading outdoors tomorrow morning!

•Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
•Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors.
•Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. DO NOT use generators or grills inside.

City Offices & Public Library will close at noon on Tuesday, December 31st and be closed Wednesday, Janauary 1st for the New Year holiday.
We will reopen for normal business hours on Thursday, January 2nd.
City Transfer Station will be closed Wednesday, January 1st.
Emergency crews will operate as normal during this time.
