PEDDLER PERMIT APPROVAL:
Just so our citizens are aware.
Benjamin Christian is with Arete General Contracting, LLC and has acquired his peddlers permit with the Abernathy Police Dept and City of Abernathy.
If he knocks on your door, please know that he is fully permitted by the City and has gone through the proper paperwork.
You may always ask to see a solicitor’s City of Abernathy permit if you have a solicitor knock on your door. You may call City Hall @ 806-298-2546 if you have further questions.

It was an all day celebration!

4th of JULY PARADE INFO
🇺🇸 To be in Parade: Please lineup down 1st Street by 9:30am to be announced
🗽Parade starts at 10am- and will run the route from 1st to 15th on Ave D.
ORDER OF LINE UP:
PD - American Legion - EMS/Fire - Grand Marshall/Library- all ATV/Golf Carts - Bikes - Floats - Horses - Vehicles -Tractors/Big Rigs
👉🏼 This years Grand Marshall is Mr. Lindsey Webb
🍔👚After the parade, come out to Main Street and enjoy all the vendor booths with food & fun!
Once the festivities are over on Main, head on over to participate in 4th on the Fields sponsored by Abernathy Little League!
🧨 The City of Abernathy Fireworks Show will be at the City Park and will begin at dark! So grab your lawn chairs or view from Antelope Stadium as our Abernathy Volunteer Fire Department puts on an awesome show!

City Offices & Public Library will close at noon on Thursday, July 2 and will be closed on Friday, July 3 in honor of Independence Day.
We will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, July 6.
Transfer Station will also be closed on Saturday, July 4.
Emergency crews will operate as normal during this time.
